Brief Job Description:  To manage & accountable for Manufacturing of Packaging Business
   For a diversified international enterprise with presence in several countries - business focus includes paper/plastics-packaging, consumer goods trading and international trading in chemicals, polymers & commodities.
   Identify training and development needs and prepare team members to take on new challenges and responsibilities
   Set performance benchmarks, track KPIs, identify performance gaps and take corrective measures
   Reinforce systems and processes to optimize productivity and support scalability
   Generate and analyze MIS reports, share insights and results with corporate team in the organization
Principal Responsibilities:  Formulate & execute operations/business strategy of the SBU to multiple the size of existing business and to enhance both operational performance & profitability
   Reporting to COO and accountable for Top and Bottom Line as SBU head of the Plastic Packaging division
   Forge long term relationship with Key suppliers and Customers
   Invoke a professional culture and a feeling of commitment and dedication at all levels
   Motivate the expatriate and local team members to perform better and ensure they achieve their targets
   Expand the business of division beyond the horizons by developing new markets, new customers
Educational Qualifications:
Experience and Background: 15 years of post education experience and 3 years as an SBU head and must be technically sound on various plastic processing technology
Age Group: around 40
Key Competencies:  Proven expertise in managing P & L operations with marketing as a key focus
   Should have led at least 300 member team
   Exposure to business development/CRM/Customer service/ INDUSTRIAL MKTG
   Should be a pleasant person with ability to work under pressure and foster a positive feel
   Ability to be creative and think 'outside the box'
   High level of comfort with marketing/product promotion
Salary: Very attractive savings in USD plus local terms above the industry standard
Incentives: In line with the seniority and profit centre responsibility, an aggressive potential savings is set. This performance based variable pay is applicable on an annual basis.
Others: The position is based in one of the West African countries and reports to COO
